Lincoln Financial Planner Attains Coverted Charted Status

Lincoln businessman and author Terence O’Halloran has become a Chartered Financial Planner Fellow.

He was one of just eighty in the country to receive the prestigious award following rigorous examination and assessment from the Chartered Insurance Institute at a glittering ceremony held at The Guildhall in London.

There are less than 80 chartered financial planner firms in the United Kingdom, and the award is very prestigious indeed according Mr O’Halloran who is O’Halloran & Co’s senior partner and also a chartered financial planner.

“I was pleased and privileged to be among those receiving the Charter Certificate  from Lord Hunt, the President of the Chartered Insurance. It is a great achievement and I am pleased and proud to be part of this small but elite band of advisors,” said Mr O’Halloran (63).

“As a strategic financial planner the training that the Chartered Insurance Institute provides and the examinations we take, are wholly relevant to modern day financial living and the needs of individuals and corporations not only in the insurance sense, as in life assurance, pensions and investments, but also in the broader based tax planning that is fundamental to ensuring that one keeps as much of what one earns as is humanly possible and legal to do, said Mr O’Halloran.

Lord Hunt in his address to the graduates stressed the need for education.  “I fully endorse that. It is a great pleasure in learning about something you are really interested in, a great sense of achievement from arriving at the pinnacle of, what does seem, on occasions, an insurmountable task.” said Mr O’Halloran
