All support provided to small to medium sized businesses is either free of charge or assisted in part by the availability of grants. Click here for more information.
Health and Safety Consultants Workshop
Cope Safety Management Limited are pleased to advise members that a successful HSE Consultants Workshop was held on 6th May, 2009. The event is organised by the Health & Safety Executive, and this year was sponsored by Cope. There were a number of guest speakers from both the Health and Safety Executive/Local Authorities and Consultants as well as the NFU (National Farmers Union) and IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health). Scott Butters, Managing Director of Cope, said, "This is the second annual event of its type locally. It is primarily aimed at encouraging closer working between consultants and the enforcing authorities, however customers ultimately benefit as consultants are brought up to date with HSE key focus areas." If any Chamber members would like to be informed on the topics discussed at the workshop, please contact Cope Safety Management (0844 800 4266).
