Review of Gambling Policy

East Lindsey District Council has been granted the tight to issue a Small Casino Premises Licence. Althought all applications for the licence will be considered on their own merits, the Council's provisional view is that the proposed Casino Licence should be allocated to a development within the East Lindsey Coastal Action Zone. This is because of the urgent need for regeneration in this part of the East Lindsey District. The Council will expect those who wish to operate the casino facility to support their application with evidence of how best such a development would meet the regeneration needs of the East Lindsey District.

The draft policy can be found on the Council's website, www.e-lindsey.gov.uk and they would prefer you to comment by email (please click here to email Mr Adrian Twiddy). Please make sure that your response includes reference to the paragraph and page numbers within the draft policy to which you are referring to. Consultation in respect of the draft Gambling Policy will close on the 20th of November 2009.
