QES Response Rate

Over 400 Lincolnshire businesses responded to the Quarter 1 QES and we are very proud to say that Lincolnshire is still number 1 in the country. The Lincolnshire response rate has yet again held on to the number 1 spot, and we would just like to thank you for your time in completing the surveys. If you would like more information on the QES, please This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to email Hannah Young.

Sponsorship Opportunity – Lincolnshire Chamber Annual Charity Golf Day

The Lincolnshire Chamber Annual Charity Golf Day is on 15th September 2010 at Lincoln Golf Club, Torksey. Last year’s event was very successful with 29 teams turning out for an enjoyable day and raising £2,000 for the chosen charity.

We are looking for a sponsor for this year's Charity Golf Day. Sponsorship of this countywide event allows you to profile your business to over 100 business people across Lincolnshire.

Sponsorship Benefits:

  • 1 team entry (team of 4)
  • The choice of charity for the day
  • Your logo/name will be attached to all promotional and supporting golf material (including newsletter, emails, magazine articles, press releases and programme on the day) before and after the event
  • Sponsorship of holes 1 and 18
  • Having a stand and material at the golf club
  • Attending the prize giving and awarding a prize or two
  • The opportunity to distribute merchandise relating to your business to all attendees (golf balls, tees, clothing etc)

This valuable opportunity to sponsor one of our biggest events of the year to such a wide audience means it is in high demand, so please This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to email Charlotte Robson to discuss this further.

Young Chamber - Yarborough School

Students from the Yarborough School Young Chamber Enterprise Council are setting up social enterprises selling hanging baskets to staff, parents, governors and the local community.

They have two businesses competing against each other. Both businesses are selling budget baskets, luxury baskets and the opportunity to choose the colours of your flowers. Refills are also available to spruce up your baskets from last year. It is up to you which business you choose – the key aspect here for the students is to develop a strong marketing and sales strategy and perhaps a Unique Selling Point.

Budding Bouquets is led by Cheryl Williams along with Katie Brazier and Jason Southern and prices range from £8.50 - £14.50; Plant Away is led by Bo Haywood along with Amy Wakefield, Chelsea Coggon and Sophie Andrews and prices range from £10.00 - £15.00.

If you would like to find out more about the hanging baskets and perhaps place an order please This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to email Katie Vause, Enterprise Coordinator at Yarborough School, or telephone 01522 529203.
