When planning your marketing, you should look at how technology can help. Traditional methods, e.g. direct mail, can be expensive and often wasteful. Hosted by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and delivered by Jon Egley from the East Midlands eBusiness Club, this event will focus on using the Internet along with appropriate tools and techniques to not only promote yourself and your business but to interact effectively with your existing customers and suppliers.

This event will take you through the basics of:

• Planning a successful website
• Ensuring your website is search engine friendly
• Managing your customer database
• Using email as a marketing tool
• Using social media networks (Twitter, Linkedin and Forums)
• Adding your details to online directories and local search resources
• Creating a business blog
• Measuring and monitoring your online activity
