People are being encouraged to get involved in local democracy and have their say on Boston Borough Council’s services during Consultation Week, 22 – 28 June.
The week was launched when the High Street South Steering Group presented their Place Check Report to the leader of the Council, Cllr Richard Austin on Monday 22 June.
The Place Check project is a wonderful example of what can be accomplished when residents work together with the combined support of local organisations. The project, which has already seen success in Daisy Dale, is a joint initiative of Boston Borough Council, South Lincolnshire CVS, Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, NHS Lincolnshire, Boston Mayflower, Longhurst Housing, Sure Start and Lincolnshire County Council.

Consultations will be held at the Boston Markets on Wednesday 24 June and Saturday 27 June, and at the Assembly Rooms between 6.30pm and 9pm on Tuesday 23 June.
