LOCATION: Boston

SALARY: Neg £25K -£28K

Responsibilities:

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the leading independent business representative and support organisations in the County of Lincolnshire, promoting the interests of member businesses and contributing in partnership with others to a prosperous regional economy.

We are seeking to appoint a Business Manager to set up, develop and run the new Business Improvement District for Boston. The BID aims to provide for a higher level of security, higher numbers of customers, a higher profile for the town, to create a better business environment and greater profitability for all our businesses.

Skills Required:

Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and interact with a wide variety of people up to and including board members and owner managers, quickly gaining credibility, whilst having a proven track record of achieving targets.

A business background would be desirable, with an understanding of funding as the role will involve preparation of funding applications, marketing and strong financial skills.

Experience in leadership and management previous roles is essential.
