Boston Business to Business Event Success

Boston Business to Business Event Success

A successful Business to Business and Speed-Networking Event was hosted at the Assembly Rooms, Boston on the 25th of November 2010. The event was managed by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by Boston Business Club.

This popular event was a complete sell out with over 70 delegates attending from around the county. There was an opportunity for businesses to exhibit and showcase their products and services to a wide range of businesses. Delegates networked informally to the exhibitors over a buffet lunch provided by the White Hart Hotel, Boston before being called to the adjacent room for an hour of speed-networking.

The beauty of speed-networking is in its efficiency; delegates get to meet more new contacts during a speed-networking session than they may normally do during the course of the year.

The event was such a success that the sponsors are looking to make this an annual event in the Boston area. Lincolnshire Chamber Networking Events like this provide an effective marketing platform for creating and developing opportunities and a network of contacts, based on referrals and introductions. These can be both a route to market and a marketing method, allowing you to maximise on your networking and meet as many people as possible during the course of the event.

Helen Peake from Angle PLC exhibited and took part in the speed-networking. Helen said, “What a fantastic event, a really diverse range of delegates and exhibitions. It was so nice to meet all the businesses of the Boston area, thank you. I thoroughly recommend attending these networking events as you never know what interesting people you may meet.”

We received a 99% satisfaction rate for this event. Please visit our website to find out about all our future events which you may be interested in attending, at http://www.lincs-chamber.co.uk/events/upcoming-events.htm
