Boston Area Networking Success - Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UK

On 17th June the Lincolnshire Chamber hosted a Networking Lunch at The White Hart in Boston. The event was attended by around 26 representatives from businesses across the county, as well as local Boston guests.

The menu choice was moussaka and garlic bread with a desert of chocolate fudge cake followed by coffee to finish. Delegates were seated around 3 tables, with table hosts being Mathew Sutch of Natwest, Coral Wilcox of Business Link and Sally Allwood of TNG.

Our event began at 12.00noon with a drinks reception of fresh orange juice and iced water. Delegates enjoyed swapping business cards and networking freely with other delegates whom they would not be seated with for lunch. This is made easy by the colour coded tables and badges.

During lunch, delegates were all invited to take 2 minutes to promote their company to other guests at the table, and given the opportunity to put an additional business card forward for our popular business card draw. On this occasion the card drawn was for Mr. James Conduit of Sills and Betteridge.

Our next Networking Lunch to be held in the Boston area will be in September 2010.
