Birchwood Access and Training Centre is located in the heart of Birchwood, occupying a unit in the local shopping centre. The aim of the centre is to make it possible for people of Lincoln to actively share in the growth of a sound and thriving community.

We currently deliver accredited learning of English, Maths, ICT from first steps to ECDL Advanced and Food Hygiene. We also are a delivery partner for the Skills for Jobs, which encompasses such things as Confidence, motivation, job search and application forms to name a few.

Within the Centre we have a CAB Adviser twice a week, Community Larder, Youth Project and Seniors group. A wide range of community activity is also undertaken. The Centre has strong links with Children's Centres across the county and we are contracted by Lincolnshire County Council for the Family Support Workers which is a team of 3 individuals working out of the Birchwood Children's Centre
